Automatic bilge pumps with built-in switch. Removing the motor cartridge allows for easy cleaning of the strainer and the impeller in case the pump becomes clogged with debris. Electric submersible pumps are by far the most popular type of electric bilge pumps, submersibles give very high outputs, are cost effective, have a low amplifier and are easy to install. The bilge pumps are designed only to drain standing water. They are not intended to avoid a rapid accumulation of water on board due to bad weather, damage to the hull and / or other unsafe sailing conditions.
